So true! One of my greatest pleasures is gardening, and as you so accurately put it, "digging in the dirt". I love the feel of it in/on my hands (which is probably why my hands are not the most attractive!!) Frankly, I am really not all that good at it, but never get tired of trying.

ReplyDeleteAmazing how happy we are when we do the things we really love. There is a distinct difference between the garden shot, and the lunch-break shot.
ReplyDeleteBeing home gives us a sense of security and comfort as well.
We all used to dig in the dirt as children. Returning to those child-like activities is what makes us feel alive.
