I found this old house (formerly a farmer’s home) on a back road in the Orting Valley. This photo project as you can tell is a good excuse to take the side roads during my daily travels. The Valley floor (a ten foot deep volcanic flow from Mt. Rainer) is rich farmland, but all they’ve planted there since the 1980’s have been rows and rows of cheap houses, and now many of those are starting to wither too.
This is what I call a "handyman special". I'd love to know who formerly lived there. Just looking at this weathered house tells me a lifetime of stories. Great job with your picture taking. I'm really enjoying these.
