Close Pam, but the item's have different origins. The leather mask is from a vendor at the Oregon Country Fair. Under the mask is the robe of Prospero from a production of Shakespeare’s The Tempest. I saw the play a couple times, and later bought the robe at a theater fundraiser auction.
Looks like a costume from an opera. Can't place the opera...if that's what it is.

ReplyDeleteTHAT's IT! Prospero! It also reminded me of Beauty and the Beast. The robe is beautiful. Do you ever wear it?
ReplyDeleteNot yet Pam. It was too hot to wear it at the Oregon Country Fair, so maybe I'll use it for the Renaissance Faire, or a Halloween party.
