Auntie’s Thanksgiving platter is probably older than I am. It served up the turkey at the first Thanksgiving dinners I can remember, beginning when I was 4 or 5 years old. Given to me by my Aunt before she died, it now serves up the turkey at our Thanksgiving table.
The memories are as much fun as the Thanksgiving dinner. I'm sure your Auntie is proud to know that you are using her turkey platter...and a fine platter it is.
