  1. Alana: It was a rainy gloomy day today (not a great one for taking pictures of goats and such) so I drove to downtown Puyallup, to an area where they have some unique public art scattered here and there. This particular bit of plumbing against the side of a building just looks like a utility sprinkler access or something, until you look a little closer (click on the photo for larger view.) Notice the labels on the valve handles? Anyway, because it was a dark day, and the area around the sculpture was a little trashy I distorted, and jazzed the picture up a bit with Photoshop (“artistic privilege” I think they call it.)

  2. Looks like a philosophical interpretation of life using metal parts. Sign says "Life's Shower" but I can't read what's on the valves.

Could the "light" be God? Or maybe I'm not looking at this correctly. Is that a light? Anyway, it's an interesting photo.

  3. Pam: The photo should enlarge to medium size if you click it once, and to large if you click it a second time revealing the words on the valves: LOVE, PATIENCE, MERCY, TOLERANCE, HONESTY, FAITH, PEACE, and HOPE. Please let me know – Do these photos enlarge like they should?

Also, the thing at the top is just a big showerhead (I added the "light" in this photo-interpretation.)

  4. YES! The photos do enlarge as they should. Thanks for the helpful hint. Light and showerhead both work for me. Water is purefying while Light is, for me, God. This is a wonderful sculpture. Thanks again. Love these photos, Randy, and look forward to them each day.
